Who do you work with?
I work with adults navigating life transitions, including grief and loss, health challenges, changes in weight or body trust, caregiving roles, and the emotional complexities of midlife and beyond.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who have managed a great deal in their lives but feel worn down, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward during a season of change.
Is this therapy?
No. Coaching is not therapy and does not replace mental health treatment.
Grief- and life-transition coaching is a supportive, companioning process focused on emotional awareness, resilience, nervous system regulation, and practical self-care. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and I am happy to collaborate with therapists or other providers when appropriate.
What happens in a coaching session?
Sessions are collaborative and paced with care. We explore what you are carrying—emotionally, physically, and historically—and identify supportive, realistic ways forward.
Depending on your needs, sessions may include:
Reflective conversation and emotional processing
Mind-body awareness and grounding practices
Support around grief, identity shifts, or body trust
Tools for nervous system regulation
Optional use of Havening Techniques® for stress and emotional relief
There is no pressure to share more than feels right, and no expectation to “fix” yourself.
How long do people usually work with you?
This varies. Some clients seek short-term support during a specific transition, while others choose ongoing work for deeper integration and support.
Grief and life transitions unfold over time, and many clients find value in working together for several months.
